Privacy policy
Last updated 20 August 2026.
This explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
PRIZMA sells pickleball balls and paddles in the Philippines, with branches in Parañaque and Davao. For the purposes of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), we are the personal information controller for the data described here.
What we collect, and why
- When you order: your name and email address, and a mobile number if you give one. We need these to confirm the order and tell you when it is ready to collect. Checkout does not ask for a delivery address, because everything is collected in person.
- When you pay by bank transfer: the receipt you upload, which shows your bank, the amount and the reference. It is stored privately, opened only by PRIZMA staff to match your payment, and kept with the order record.
- When you contact us: your name, email, and whatever you choose to put in the message — plus a phone number and organisation if you give them. We use these only to answer you.
- When you subscribe: your email address, so we can send you the newsletter. Nothing else.
- When you browse: standard technical data your browser sends, and the cookie our shop needs to remember your cart.
- When you use a form: your network address, to stop the forms being used to send mail in our name. We never store it — it is turned into a one-way code first, so what we keep cannot be turned back into an address or connected to you, and it is deleted within days.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising. We have no interest in doing either.
Who else sees it
Only the services that make the shop work — our hosting and database providers, which store orders and messages on our behalf, and our email provider. They process the data for us and are not free to use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as the law requires us to keep business and tax records. Enquiries are kept while we are dealing with them and for a reasonable period afterwards. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe — every email has an unsubscribe link, and it works.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy
- correct anything that is wrong or out of date
- delete data we no longer have a reason to keep
- stop using your data for something you object to, including marketing
Message us and we will deal with it. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a request, you may complain to the National Privacy Commission.
